<p>Opposite Francis today will be left-hander David Peterson, who made his debut against the Miami Marlins and went six innings and allowed just five hits and two earned runs (both home runs) while walking three. Peterson struck out nine Marlins on the day and hit 89 pitches.</p>
<p>On the sticks, the Jays still have not had a home run from Bichette, Guerrero, and Santander, while Alejandro Kirk slots into the lineup today as the DH, the first time this season he has suited up without it being behind the plate.
