Did the Jays’ offence break out in big way in Monday’s win in Seattle?
No.
Did the bullpen manage to not look kiiiiinda shaky and give us a scare at the end?
No.
Were the good vibes we took from it not mostly because Marco Estrada, who won’t have a damn thing to do with at least these next three games (and, most likely, four, looked the part of an ace once again?
Yes.
So… uh… are we really that confident that everything may well finally be right with the goddamned world?
Probably not, right? I mean, the stupid fucking Red Sox are still good, and there ain’t nothing right with that. But that doesn’t mean we can’t pretend this is the jumping off point towards glory, right? Right???
Fucking eh we can! So let’s do this!
Though, um, a non-wall-scraper home run out of Donaldson or Bautista would go a long way to making us feel better. Just in case anybody on the team was wondering. *COUGH*

Scuttlebutt

I would have gone a different way with the title here, but the always on-point @JAHappster — who, of course, created the image at the top of this post — beat me to it:
Yes, that’s right everybody. Tomorrow’s game is in the afternoon. So let’s get drunk! Y’know… again.
