Game Threat: Blister Watch, Royals (73-77) @ Blue Jays (71-80)
By Cam Lewis
6 years agoIf the Jays keep rolling through their final remaining games, they can finally reach that coveted .500 mark for the season! But they have to go 11-1 the rest of the way. Is it doable? Sure!
Welcome to Cactus Gate. Apparently Marcus Stroman was declined entry at Cactus Club last night after the game and now it’s a big deal on Twitter. Great job, Cactus Club, picking the most social media savvy Blue Jay to piss off. Excellent PR work!

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
Brett Anderson (With TOR): 3.27 ERA, 22 IP, 9.4 H9, 1.2 HR9, 1.6 BB9, 6.1 SO9
Royals
Jake Junis: 4.15 ERA, 80 1/3 IP, 9.6 H9, 1.3 HR9, 2.2 BB9, 7.6 SO9
Brett Anderson left his last start with a blister, because 2017 (MLB, please fix those balls. We all like dingers, but we fucking hate blisters). Apparently he’s good to go, but we’ll be watching closely to see if he fidgets around with the blistered finger on the bench like Aaron Sanchez did all year when he wasn’t on the disabled list.
