Game Threat: Could A Series Win Happ-en?, Tigers (60-81) @ Blue Jays (65-77)
Brett Anderson continued to impress in his short stint as a Blue Jay yesterday with another excellent start. Despite a rough first inning that saw Anderson give up two runs, he would lock it down from there. With the help of another phenomenal catch and four for four night from Kevin Pillar, the Jays managed to even out the series. Now, the Blue Jays head into today with an opportunity for their first series win since mid-August.
News and Scuttlebutt
As mentioned above another great outing from Anderson, and a great quote as well.
Another day, and another lineup card without Josh Donaldson and Steve Pearce. Both injuries are worth watching heading into the series with Baltimore tomorrow.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
J.A. Happ: 3.85 ERA, 119.1 IP, 9.2 H9, 1.2 HR9, 3.1 BB9, 8.5 SO9
Tigers
Anibal Sanchez: 7.07 ERA, 77.2 IP, 12.1 H9, 2.7 HR9, 2.4 BB9, 7.9 SO9
Happ had a couple of rough outings against Chicago and Minnesota but has bounced back well, allowing only one earned run in each of his last two starts. He’ll look to keep it rolling today facing of Anibal Sanchez, who is not good, and hasn’t been getting better with a brutal 9.50 ERA in August.
