How about that! A hell of a bounce-back game from the Jays last night led to a win in extras. On top of that, Estrada continued to look to be back to his wonderful self, and of all people, new number six hitter and Mr. Clutch himself Ryan Goins gave the Jays the go ahead run. Splitting the first two, the Blue Jays enter today’s rubber match looking for a series win.

News and Scuttlebutt

This Marcus Stroman stuff needs to die. But it won’t. So because we all care so much about what everyone thinks about his energy, here’s AJ Hinch’s take.

And now, the lineups…

Blue Jays

Marcus Stroman: 3.19 ERA, 138.1 IP, 8.8 H9, 0.9 HR9, 2.9 BB9, 7.4 SO9
Mike Fiers: 3.97 ERA, 88.1 IP, 8.4 H9, 1.8 HR9, 3.4 BB9, 8.8 SO9
Stroman and Fiers are both having excellent seasons on the mound. Hits could be few and far between, hopefully leading a good old fashioned afternoon pitchers dual. A couple of runs could be all it takes to walk away with this one and the series victory.
