We’ve already technically watched 27 innings of baseball between Boston and Toronto this week, but there’s still a third game to be played. It’ll be Joe Biagini leading the B lineup as the Blue Jays look for a series split at Fenway.

Blue Jays

Joe Biagini: 5.01 ERA, 97 IP, 9.2 H9, 0.9 HR9, 3.1 BB9, 8.1 SO9

Red Sox

Doug Fister: 4.19 ERA, 66 2/3 IP, 8.0 H9, 0.9 HR9, 3.8 BB9, 7.6 SO9
Joe Biagini is coming off of the best start of his major league career in Baltimore, but Doug Fister has also been pitching like, uh, not Doug Fister as of late. A few weeks ago, Fister threw a complete game one hit shutout against the Clevelanders, and he cleared seven innings in his last two outings against Baltimore and New York. The Jays offence isn’t exactly firing as of late, as we saw deep into the hours of last night’s epic, so this could be another low scoring snoozer. Josh Donaldson won’t be in the lineup, Teoscar Hernandez will slot into the No. 2 hole, and Michael Saunders is making a start in left like it’s July 2016.
