The Toronto Blue Jays look to further solidify their spot in the AL Wild Card race Wednesday afternoon with a series win over the Cleveland Guardians.
The Jays have been rolling going 5-1 over their last six games in thanks to a series sweep over the Boston Red Sox, and a solid start against the Guardians. Toronto opened the series with a 3-1 win before dropping a 1-0 decision in game two on Tuesday.
Last night, Kevin Gausman once again got very little run support in a 1-0 victory. It’s a good thing his stuff has been great this year.
Today, it will be Alek Manoah taking the mound as he continues to rebound from a brutal start to the season opposite of Noah Syndergaard.
