🎶
Sittin’ on a pocket full of hard earned wages
Lookin’ at the world through magazine pages
I heard a lot about the mountains and the Colorado range
Made this stop for personal reasons
Didn’t know I’d catch the changin’ of the seasons
Winter dictates everything from frost to naked trees
I’m about a mile high in Denver
Where the rock meets timberline
I’ve walked this ground from town to town
Just to finally call it mine
🎶
RIP Jimmy Buffett.
The Toronto Blue Jays take to the Mile High City for a third day in a row in hopes of being able close out their three-game set with a win. Should they do it, it would give them the series win — one that, much like every series moving forward — will be crucial.
On Friday the Jays struggled early against Chris Flexen, but rallied in the sixth en route to running up the score. Saturday afternoon, however, didn’t fare much better.
They got to starter Ty Blach early driving in four first-inning runs adding another in the fifth, but let the Rockies back in the game en route to a 8-7 loss. A tough one, at that, nevertheless one that stung a bit less with the Tampa Bay Rays, Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros losing.
This afternoon, the Jays see Chase Anderson opposite Kevin Gausman on the mound.
