We’re about to see what the Toronto Blue Jays are made of.
And to be honest, we’re in tough here folks. The Tampa Bay Rays have been absolutely on fire to start this season going a staggering 13-0. The Jays, meanwhile, have had an up-and-down start to the year, to say the least.
The truth of the matter is this season is still very young. Hell, we’re barely two weeks into the start of the regular season and still have … *checks notes* … 168 games to go. Yeah, lots of time left.
That being said, you always want to win these inter-division matchups. The Rays are red hot right now, however. They’ve had one of the best starts to a season in MLB history and a +71 run differential.
I mean… yeah, crazy stuff here. Jose Berrios will be in tough today as he looks to find his game and I have a hard time thinking that will start today.
