It&#8217;s game 69 of the year for the Jays, and the start to this series against the Baltimore Orioles was anything but nice.

Chris Bassitt got lit up early by the Orioles with no answer for the lefties at the top of their lineup. He lasted just three innings allowing eight earned runs and three home runs off 11 hits while striking out five batters. Bowden Francis came in and struggled, too, allowing four hits and two earned runs off another homer.
While the Jays tacked on a few runs in the eighth and ninth, it was too little too late against a Baltimore team that might just actually be good.
Tonight, it&#8217;s Jose Berrios — who has also had some issues against lefties this year — taking on an Orioles lineup who, you guessed it, is stacked with lefties.
