GDB 75.0: Toronto Blue Jays look to claw out victory against Miami Marlins

By Zach Laing
3 months agoI’m not sure what’s going on with the Toronto Blue Jays as of late, but I’m not a fan.
While this team has an admirable 39-33 that would have them first in either of the central divisions, they’re clawing for a wild card position in an absolutely loaded AL East.
The Jays once again find themselves skidding having dropped the three previous games. While ebbs and flows, wins and losses can and will come in streaks throughout a season, it gets tricky when you drop three in a row getting outscored 26-9 while allowing 22 runs in two straight games.
The three-game set against the Miami Marlins that Toronto finds themselves smack dab in the middle of doesn’t get easier, either, as they now square up against rookie sensation Eury Perez, who has been nothing short of electric through his first seven starts.
