BJN Radio – Ep. 157: The Blue Jays are finding their groove, Alek Manoah got roughed up in the Florida Complex League, and more!

That’s three series wins in a row for the Toronto Blue Jays.
After failing to score a run in support of Kevin Gausman on Tuesday, the Blue Jays came up clutch on Wednesday and Thursday behind strong outings from their bullpen day and Chris Bassitt.
We talked about Gausman never getting run support, Bassitt and his dominant numbers with Alejandro Kirk behind the plate, and how well Trevor Richards and Bowden Francis have pitched in Alek Manoah’s absence. Speaking of that, we also talked about Manoah’s first outing in the Florida Complex League and what conclusions are worth drawing.
After that, we took a look around the American League East and ahead to the Canada Day weekend series with the struggling Boston Red Sox.
