Wednesday night’s game in Chicago between the Blue Jays and the White Sox was rained out so the two teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday to conclude this three-game series.
The first of the two games is scheduled to start at 5:10 p.m. ET and then the second game will begin roughly 30 minutes after the first game comes to an end. It’ll basically be six hours of straight baseball starting in the late afternoon.
José Berríos was scheduled to take the mound against Lance Lynn on Wednesday evening so that would presumably be the match-up for the first leg of the doubleheader. The night-cap will feature Yusei Kikuchi for the Blue Jays while the White Sox haven’t yet announced their starter.
The Blue Jays will be looking to sweep both this three-game series in Chicago along with their season series against the White Sox. They swept the White Sox in Toronto back in April and outscored them 20-2 over the three-game set. Toronto won the first game of the series on Tuesday by a score of 4-3.
