<p>The Toronto Blue Jays should soon have another talented arm to add to their already shutdown bullpen ahead of the upcoming stretch run.</p>
<p>Chad Green, recovering from Tommy John surgery, worked a scoreless sixth inning in his seventh rehab appearance (10th total) with triple-A Buffalo on Saturday against the Syracuse Mets. He threw 15 pitches, 10 strikes, allowing just one hit and a walk while striking out one.</p>
<p>The most notable takeaway from the 32-year-old&#8217;s latest outing was his four-seamer, which averaged 94.9 m.p.h. &#8211; a few tics up from his 2022 average velocity (94.6). It has sat in the 94-96 m.p.h. range post-surgery this season.</p>
