Marcus Stroman has been nails this season, he always pitches well against the Yankees, and he enjoys important games. Add that all up, and we should be in line to witness a Stro Show tonight in what could be the Jays’ second series win in a (row if everything goes according to plan).
News and Scuttlebutt
The big news from today is that Salty has been formally released from the Blue Jays. The team is still on the hook for all of his $1.25 million salary. In injury news, J.A. Happ still isn’t very close to returning, meaning more Mat Latos. Yeaaaaahhh!!!!

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
We're going for a series win tonight behind @MStrooo6. Here's our lineup pres. by @MajesticOnField. atmlb.com/2otPGEX #LetsRise
Marcus Stroman: 36 1/3 IP, 2.97 ERA, 8.9 H9, 0.5 HR9, 1.7 BB9, 6.9 SO9
Yankees
CC takes the mound in tonight's series finale vs. Toronto. atmlb.com/2p9sbxQ
CC Sabathia: 29.0 IP, 4.34 ERA, 8.7 H9, 1.6 HR9, 3.4 BB9, 6.2 SO9
If Marcus Stroman was cloned and one of them ate the other, you would have CC Sabathia. That’s a good way to describe one guy being big and one guy being not big, I think. Sabathia had a nice start to the season, but over his past few times out, he’s been drilled. Stroman, on the other hand, has been excellent in his last two outings. Being a New York kid, Stroman seems to get fired up playing at Yankees stadium. So we’ll probably see the best of the Stro Show tonight.
