Victory!! The Jays got back on the winning track yesterday (they had to make it close though…) and as a result tied up the series against the Twins. Now, heading into Sunday a series win is within reach. Who better on a quirky weekend to take the ball than the quirkiest one, Joe Biagini. Here’s hoping!
News and Scuttlebutt
In order for Biagini to start, he first had to get back on the roster from being stretched out in Buffalo. TJ House was the casualty on the other end.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays

Joe Biagini: 5.11 ERA, 86.1 IP, 8.9 H9, 0.9 HR9, 3.0 BB9, 7.6 SO9
Twins
#PlayersWeekend and the #MNTwins road trip wraps up this afternoon with Gibby on the mound. atmlb.com/2wSWf7A
I still don’t know who these guys are……
Kyle Gibson: 5.76 ERA, 115.2 IP, 11.1 H9, 1.4 HR9, 4.0 BB9, 6.5 SO9
Ugh. Kyle Gibson is terrible. Walks, get ’em here. Hits, he has plenty. Come to think of it, all Twins pitchers are terrible. How the hell are they even ahead of us in the Wild Card race. For the love of fuck, hit Kyle Gibson and take the series. Here’s to hoping for small miracles.
