Holy shit, have the Jays been allowing their high performance department to freelance with other clubs???
Game Threat: Going Streaking! Mariners (17-18) @ Blue Jays (14-21)

Do you have a wish? I wish for this winning streak to continue, because I had almost forgotten what prolonged streaks of success felt like. Maybe Joe Biagini can grant that wish tonight, as he makes his second career start for the Jays.
News and Scuttlebutt
Well fuck me! I guess the Jays aren’t injured because of their high performance department after all! Maybe it has something to do with, ya know, the fact major league baseball had a seven-week spring training AND the World Baseball classic this spring? Maybe?!
Aaron Sanchez returns Sunday and now more encouraging news on #BlueJays rotation.
Update on J.A. Happ: his throwing program is progressing, now tossing at 120 feet. Plan from here, throw off a mound next week. #BlueJays
Some good injury news, as Aaron Sanchez will be back for sure on Sunday, and J.A. Happ could be throwing off of a mound by next week. With Sanchez back, the Jays have a thoroughly solid rotation, even with Happ and Liriano out of action. The lineup, though? That’s another animal.

And now, the lineups…
Joe Biagini: 22 2/3 IP, 2.78 ERA, 6.8 H9, 0.4 HR9, 1.2 BB9, 8.3 SO9
Christian Bergman: Career… 151 1/3 IP, 5.71 ERA, 11.7 H9, 1.4 HR9, 1.9 BB9, 5.5 SO9
Joe Biagini was excellent in his first career big league start last weekend down in Tampa, holding the Rays to just two hits over four innings. He likely won’t have a very long leash tonight, as John Gibbons said he would toss roughly 70 pitches depending on how he looked. Going for Seattle will be minor league free agent signing Christian Bergman, who had a pretty mediocre few seasons in Colorado before being let go. He doesn’t have overwhelming stuff, and really should be somebody the Jays, even with this Bisons lineup, can hit hard.
