Blue Jays Make Roster More Interesting With September Call-Ups bluejaysnation.com/2017/09/01/blu… #Jays #MLB
Game Threat: Keep on Crushing Dreams, Blue Jays (62-72) @ Orioles (68-66)

Sep 1, 2017, 18:34 EDT
Finding themselves back in the win column on the back of a Kendrys Morales hat trick last night, the Jays continue to try to play spoiler to the hopes and dreams that are the playoffs for the Orioles. Biagini makes his second start since returning from being stretched out, and can hopefully lead the way to some salty Trash Bird tears.
News and Scuttlebutt
The first wave of September call ups were announced today. You can get the run down on all of these adds here.
Holy crap "Vlad Jr might be an 80 hit, 80 power"
You know, just in case you needed any more wood to stoke that Vlad Jr. fire with. Wow.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
Joe Biagini: 5.40 ERA, 90 IP, 9.4 H9, 1.0 HR9, 3.2 BB9, 7.7 SO9
Orioles
Kevin Gausman: 4.98 ERA, 151.2 IP, 10.6 H9, 1.5 HR9, 3.7 BB9, 8.3 SO9
Biagini didn’t look good in his first game back from AAA going only 3.2 innings and giving up five against the Twins. Tonight he’ll hope for a bounce back start, and at least give the Jays some length. Gausman, who gets the start on the other side, followed a good game, bad game trend throughout August. If that trend continues, and the Jays bats stay hot from last night, he’s due for a stinker.
