Ugh. Devon Travis Has Had a Setback bluejaysnation.com/2017/08/30/ugh… #Jays #MLB
Game Threat: Salvaging Something, Red Sox (75-57) @ Blue Jays (61-71)

Times aren’t good for the Blue Jays right now. Yesterday’s loss cemented the team’s fourth-straight series loss, and today they’ll look to stop a Red Sox sweep with last year’s Cy Young winner on the mound.
A handful of things went down today. Notably, there was an update on Devon Travis, who apparently likely won’t be back this season after suffering a setback in his rehab stint. Also, Troy Tulowitzki was with the team in a walking boot, and said that he had no interest in playing a different position in the future. J.A. Happ, according to Jon Heyman, was claimed on waivers by another team, but the purpose was to block him from being traded to another, so he was pulled back and will remain a Blue Jay.
Bo Bichette leads full-season MiLBers with a .369 AVG, 183 wRC+. Ranks 2nd with .998 OPS. 13 HR. 22 SB. Didn't make this list. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, USA today is doing a Minor League Player of the Year poll and didn’t include Bo Bichette, who has been this year’s best minor league hitter. Lmao.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
J.A. Happ: 4.10 ERA, 107 2/3 IP, 9.4 H9, 1.3 HR9, 2.8 BB9, 9.0 SO9
Red Sox
Rick Porcello: 4.57 ERA, 169 1/3 IP, 10.6 H9, 1.6 HR9, 1.9 BB9, 8.1 SO9
I referred to Rick Porcello as last year’s Cy Young winner earlier, and while that is technically true, he hasn’t looked anything like he did during his strong 2016 campaign. Porcello’s strikeout numbers are down and his hits are up, which obviously isn’t a good recipe. His stats actually mirror the ones he put up back in 2015, his first season with Boston, suggesting last year was likely the anomaly. He’ll go against a putrid Jays lineup as Justin Smoak is sitting with nagging calf soreness and Josh Donaldson is being given a scheduled rest day.
