<p>An interesting note here from Jonah Birenhaum, in the wake of the Jays making a few roster moves today. He points out that Toronto has two open spots on their 40-man roster, meaning Devon Travis, who&#8217;s currently on the 60-day DL and not the 40-man, could be close to returning. Of course, that&#8217;s wishful thinking, but you&#8217;d assume there&#8217;s a reason they opted to release Chris Coghlan yesterday without adding anyone else in his place.</p>

<p>Jacob Faria has been a very pleasant surprise this season for the Rays, low-key emerging into one of the team&#8217;s best starters since being called up back in May. He&#8217;s been consistently solid, having only allowed more than three runs in two of 12 starts. Marcus Stroman, as we know, has also been very, very good, and is coming off of one of his best starts of the season against the Pirates.</p>
