Well, thankfully the visit to Kansas City is over. Despite avoiding the sweep, the Jays return home an underwhelming three games below the .500 mark. Following a day off, the crew will look to some home cooking against the division rival Orioles in the first of a three-game set. Despite only taking two of nine games against the Orioles thus far, the Rogers Center numbers are on their side. The Jays are 17-9 (a winning percentage of .654) at home since April 29.
News and Scuttlebutt
Roster moves a plenty left the Jays with a fresh look bullpen and returnee to the lineup, but you knew that already.
There’s also a little tidbit now out there from Bob McCown, mentioning that the Jays may be looking into a Michael Saunders return.

And now, the lineups….
Joe Biagini: 4.45 ERA, 62.2 IP, 8.6 H/9, 0.72 HR/9, 2.01 BB/9, 7.61 SO/9
Kevin Gausman: 6.47 ERA, 80.2 IP, 12.6 H/9, 1.6 HR/9, 4.4 BB/9, 7.0 SO/9
That right there is some garbage pitching, which seems to be the norm for the Orioles. Hopefully, the Jays don’t turn Gausman into a Cy Young candidate as they occasionally seem to do and can take the W in this one.
