News and Scuttlebutt
Great news from last night, as T.J. House tweeted out that he’s going to be completely fine after getting drilled in the head with a line drive in the ninth inning of yesterday’s win over the Tigers. The game wasn’t televised, but based on Mile Wilner’s description of the events, it was some pretty terrifying stuff. House laid flat on his stomach for about twenty minutes before being taken away in an ambulance. Scary, scary stuff.
More positive news today, as Josh Donaldson is on the field working ground balls, and looks perfectly fine doing so. As Hazel Mae says, he’s going to make his debut next week, first as a DH for a few games, and then in the field once he’s 100 per cent good to go.

But damn, this would certainly make an interesting story if it does somehow manage to come to fruition. I, uh, I’m not sure if I want it to be with the Jays, though.
And now, the starting lineups…
