FINAL: NH 5, TRN 1 The Fisher Cats are headed to the @EasternLeague Championship Series!!! #FerociousFinale
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are in the Eastern League Championship Series

We’re pivoting to Fisher Cats Nation. The Large Adult Sons from New Hampshire absolutely kicked the piss out of the Trenton Thunder, the Yankees’ Double-A team, and will play in the Eastern League Championship Series. They’ll play either Altoona or Akron.
When I say the Fisher Cats kicked the ever-loving piss out of Trenton, I really meant it. They won the first game of the series 8-0 on the strength of six shutout innings from T.J. Zeuch. Hector Perez got knocked around a little in the second game, but the bats carried the Fisher Cats to a 10-4 win. They completed the sweep on Friday night with a 5-1 win in which Jordan Romano tossed five-and-two-thirds scoreless frames.
So it was a combination of good pitching and big bats that ultimately allowed New Hampshire to completely murder the Yankees Double-A team. Max Pentecost continued to revive his prospect status with a clutch bomb in the Thursday win. Bo Bichette went 6-for-13 and hasn’t struck out yet and Cavan Biggio went 4-for-10 with seven runs batted in. The biggest offensive catalyst for this time continues to be Harold Ramirez, though, as he went 6-for-11 with three RBIs and a couple stolen bases.
Fuck yeah, the Fisher Cats.
