#Bluejays announced earlier this hour that Justin Shafer has been optioned back to #Bisons and that Zac Rosscup has cleared waivers and elected to become a free agent. Corresponding move tomorrow, could well be Tim Mayza coming off the IL.
The Zac Rosscup era is over

Apologies to those who are sitting at home waiting for their Zac Rosscup jerseys to arrive in the mail. The veteran reliever cleared through waivers and has elected free agency.
Rosscup made just one appearance for the Blue Jays, surrendering three earned runs over the course of one inning. He was signed, presumably, to fill in for Tim Mayza as the Jays’ top lefty was on the disabled list.
Speaking of Mayza, the Jays have also optioned Justin Shafer to Triple-A Buffalo, opening up a spot on the 25-man roster. As Mike Wilner reports, Mayza will be activated tomorrow in a corresponding roster move.
