ESPN&#8217;s Kiley McDaniel released his <a href="https://www.espn.com/mlb/insider/insider/story/_/id/34404296/kiley-mcdaniel-2022-midseason-top-50-mlb-prospects" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">mid-season top 50 prospects list</a> on Tuesday, which includes a trio of Blue Jays: catcher Gabriel Moreno, shortstop Orelvis Martinez and left-hander Ricky Tiedemann. Additionally, McDaniel also noted 2022 first-round selection Brandon Barriera as the franchise&#8217;s &#8220;next-best prospect&#8221; behind Moreno, Martinez and Tiedemann.

Moreno made his major-league debut earlier this season, hitting .276/.300/.293 with four RBIs across 60 plate appearances. In triple-A, the 22-year-old backstop has logged 210 plate appearances, slashing .298/.367/.394 with a pair of home runs and 29 RBIs.
The 5&#8217;11&#8221; right-hander recently returned to Buffalo&#8217;s lineup after missing time due to thumb soreness. He went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Sunday versus the Syracuse Mets.
Martinez, who&#8217;s eligible for this winter&#8217;s Rule 5 Draft, has spent all season with double-A New Hampshire, playing 94 contests. The 20-year-old infielder has hit 25 round-trippers, 64 RBIs and a .208/.274/.464 over 388 plate appearances.
This season, the 6&#8217;1&#8243; right-hander has further sacrificed his plate discipline for power, registering career-worsts in his strikeout (30.2 per cent) and walk rates (6.2 per cent).
Tiedemann has enjoyed a breakout performance, splitting time across three minor-league levels in his first professional campaign. The 19-year-old, who was chosen in the third round of last season&#8217;s draft, currently resides with the Fisher Cats, where he&#8217;s allowed three earned runs and has struck out seven batters through two starts.
The 6&#8217;4&#8243; lefty will celebrate his 20th birthday on Thursday.
