CP24 Toronto reported that the Toronto Blue Jays’ Triple-A affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, will be offering discounted tickets to Canadian customers for their home games.
That discount will be a 30% off on single-game tickets for customers who enter a Canadian address when paying online or pay with Canadian cash at the ballpark. While the stadium accepts credit cards, customers using them are still subjected to exchange rates.
The Bisons play their home games at Sahlen Field, right across the border from Fort Erie, Ontario, and a two hour drive from Toronto. This promotion comes as a way to bring more Canadians south of the border, while also giving them a chance to catch current and future Blue Jays.
Before the 2013 season, the Jays’ Triple-A affiliation changed from the Pacific Coast League’s Las Vegas Aviators to the Bisons. Since then, the Bisons have seen top prospects like Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, and Trey Yesavage play for them.
Additionally, the Bisons are often the final stop for rehabbing players before making their return to the Blue Jays’ active roster. Yesavage and José Berríos recently made two starts apiece with the Bisons over the past month, and even Max Scherzer pitched in two games with the club last year.
Early into the 2026 season, the Bisons find themselves in eighth place in the International League’s East division. They have recorded a record of 15-19 through 34 games, trailing the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders by four games.
The Bisons currently have a few players on the roster who have spent time with the Blue Jays, including Brendon Little, Chase Lee, and Jonatan Clase. There are also a few intriguing prospects on their roster, such as Jake Bloss, Ricky Tiedemann, and Charles McAdoo.
McAdoo, who was acquired during the 2024 MLB trade deadline for Isiah Kiner-Falefa, is batting .278 with a team-leading six home runs and 17 RBIs.
On the pitching side, Canadian Adam Macko has opened the season relatively strong. After getting his first taste of Triple-A last season as a starter, Macko has spent all of the 2026 campaign as a reliever. Through 11 games, the 25-year-old is 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA and 1.23 WHIP, striking out 17 batters across 14 2/3 innings.
The Bisons’ next home game is on Tuesday, May 12, when they host the Worcester Red Sox. That series will run Tuesday through Sunday, before the Bisons make their way to Syracuse.
