4 Blue Jays prospects named Northwest League All-Stars

Another day and more All-Stars have been announced within the Toronto Blue Jays’ organization. 
On Wednesday, a day after JoJo Parker and Dameury Pena were named Florida State League All-Stars, four players including Daniel Guerra, Alexis Hernandez, Johnny King, and Tucker Toman were listed as 2026 Northwest League All-Stars for their performances this year with High-A Vancouver. 
Through 14 starts with the Canadians this season, Guerra went 3-3 with a 3.20 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. The Blue Jays’ No. 16-ranked prospect struck out 76 batters across 59.0 innings and limited opponents to a .226 average. 
Guerra has become one of the pitchers to keep an eye on in the Blue Jays’ farm system. The 22-year-old possesses a high-90s fastball and used his wipeout slider to climb from High-A to Triple-A Buffalo to close out the 2026 campaign after spending the entire 2025 season in Single-A Dunedin. 
After a 26-game stint in the NWL to close out the 2025 season, in which Hernandez batted .293, the outfielder opened the 2026 campaign in Vancouver. Over 73 games, Hernandez batted .284 with 14 home runs and 53 RBIs. Hernandez reached base at a .382 clip and produced 11 stolen bases in 14 attempts. 
Hernandez, like Guerra, was a big part of the Canadians’ success this season before earning a promotion to Double-A New Hampshire where the 23-year-old finished the 2026 season. In 25 games with the Fisher Cats, Hernandez continued to impress, highlighted by a .341 average, .406 on-base percentage, one home run, and seven RBIs across 91 at-bats. 
King is one of the arms that Blue Jays fans are most excited about. The 20-year-old opened the 2025 season with the Canadians and went 5-2 with a 3.21 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP across 84.0 innings pitched. King struck out 112 batters and held opponents to a .212 average. 
For his showing with the Canadians, the Blue Jays’ No. 3-ranked prospect was rewarded with a promotion to Double-A on August 11. Since joining the Fisher Cats, King has made five starts and has gone 0-2 with a 2.95 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. The left-hander has struck out 27 batters over 21.1 innings and has limited opponents to a .200 average. 
Toman closed out the 2025 season with a brief 12-game stint with the Canadians before being assigned there to open 2026. In 79 games with the Canadians this season, Toman batted .274 with 11 home runs and 44 RBIs. The thirdbase man turned in an .848 OPS and stole four bases in five attempts. 
On August 4, Toman’s strong campaign was rewarded with a promotion to join the Fisher Cats. Through 22 games in Double-A, Toman batted .208 with one home run and five RBIs.
