JoJo Parker, Dameury Pena named 2026 Florida State League All-Stars

Two former Dunedin Blue Jays’ strong seasons are being rewarded.
On Tuesday night, both JoJo Parker and Dameury Pena were named as 2026 Florida State League All-Stars.
Across 87 games with Dunedin during his first season at the professional level, Parker batted .258 with 13 home runs and 66 RBIs. The 20-year-old reached base at a .388 clip and hit 24 doubles, three triples to turn in an .859 OPS in Single-A. Parker displayed his speed after getting on base by stealing 22 bases in 26 attempts.
On August 10, the Toronto Blue Jays’ 2026 first-round draft pick was promoted to High-A Vancouver, and Parker took the move in stride. In 21 games with the Canadians, Parker batted .316 with seven RBIs and produced a .443 on-base percentage.
Parker produced six doubles and one triple upon his promotion, and helped the Canadians capture the Northwest League title. During their three-game sweep over the Eugene Emeralds, Parker went 3-for-13 with one RBI, two walks while starting at shortstop in all three games.
Pena spent most of his time in Single-A as a member of the Minnesota Twins organization before being acquired by the Blue Jays prior to the trade deadline as part of the return for reliever Jeff Hoffman.
Through 58 games with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, Pena batted .322 with one home run and 31 RBIs. Pena reached base at a .393 clip and produced 19 stolen bases to go with his .774 OPS.
Following his acquisition by the Blue Jays, Pena appeared in 12 games with Dunedin and batted .318 with four RBIs, two steals and a .388 OBP. After his 12 games, Pena was promoted to High-A to join the Canadians.
In 10 games with the Canadians, Pena batted .267 with one home run and five RBIs. The 21-year-old stole two bases and produced a .327 OBP during his brief stint in Vancouver. The production was positive to see from Pena as it was a step up from the .245 average, 16 RBIs and .321 OBP he displayed during his 25 games with the Cedar Rapids Kernels while in his first stint in High-A.
While appearing at second base in all three playoff games with the Canadians, Pena went 4-for-13 with two RBIs and a run scored to help power the Canadians to their sweep.
