At least two Blue Jays games will be exclusively on Facebook

Welcome to the future, friends.
As I wrote a few weeks ago, Facebook has struck a deal with Major League Baseball to have the exclusive rights to multiple games this season. All of them are daytime games and all of them are only viewable in the United States. Long story short, Facebook wants to get in on the streaming game so that the George Orwellian surveillance social media company can track what people are doing on their browsers for large chunks of time.
There is going to be 25 games produced by MLB Network and aired on Facebook throughout the season so it was inevitable that the Jays were going to be involved in some of them.
Obviously given Facebook’s growing privacy concerns and general shadiness this is going to be an issue for many people. Knowing what we know now (or, well, have known deep down for a long time, really) about how they handle private data, how comfortable are people going to be watching a baseball game on Facebook for three hours while they quite literally just spy on what we do on our browsers?
I originally thought these games were going to exclusively be available to viewers in the United States, but there aren’t any territorial restrictions. So get ready to enjoy some Blue Jays baseball on, uh, your Facebook account, I guess.
