More good stuff from Buffalo and New Hampshire

The Blue Jays are 7-4. They didn’t reach seven wins until the end of April last season, but this team looks waaaaay better than last year’s disaster. Times are good. Let’s lean into some more good stuff from the upper minor leagues!

In Buffalo…

The Bisons finally got their season started yesterday as their first three games were postponed due to snow. Joe Biagini made the start and tossed five innings and didn’t allowed an earned run while scattering two hits and one walk. Another positive was Carlos Ramirez, who didn’t pitch much in spring due to an arm injury, tossed two-and-a-third scoreless innings without giving up a hit. The star of the day offensively was Danny Jansen, who went four-for-four with a home and two doubles. Apparently he would have hit for the cycle but Rowdy Tellez was clogging up the bases in front of him.

In New Hampshire…

The Fisher Cats, aka the Bo and Vlad Hype Train, are 5-0! Bo and Vlad are both hitting the fuck out of the ball! Yes! YEEEESSSS!!!!!!
Vlad has a 1.250 OPS, Bo has a .918 OPS, Lourdes Gurriel has a .950 OPS, and Cavan Biggio has a 1.154 OPS. Just inject this straight into my goddamn veins.
