Athletics 9, Blue Jays 2: We’ve reached the “Kendrys Morales is pitching” point in the season

That’s about as bad as it gets. The Athletics completed their four-game sweep of the Blue Jays with a 9-2 spanking.
Things worth mentioning…
- Joe Biagini was pretty much on par for what we’ve come to expect from him as a starter at this point. He managed to go just four innings while surrendering three earned runs on six hits and two walks. As per usual, he struggled with stamina and ultimately got pounded in the fifth inning without recording an out.
- The Jays were a yard sale in the field today because they needed to figure out a new way to shit themselves after doing so in three different ways over the four-game series. They made four errors and booted the ball all over the place like a goddamn fucking Little League squad. Send them down to Double-A to work on this shit, apparently that’s the only place it can be learned.
- Yangervis Solarte hit a two-run homer to break the shutout, so good on him for that. Otherwise, the only redeemable thing in this game was Kendrys Morales tossing a shutout frame in the top of the ninth. At this point, maybe his bat translates better to pitcher than DH, so why not lean into it.
