It’s Nolan Perry’s world, and we are just living in it.
After the historic rise of Trey Yesavage last year in the Blue Jays system, right-hander Nolan Perry is forging a similar path in his own way. And after a dominant start to the 2026 season, the 22-year-old now has another honour to add to his mantle: a ranking in the Top 100 prospects across all Major League Baseball.
With White Sox pitcher Noah Schultz graduating from the list, a spot opened up, and it was Perry sliding in to take spot #100. With the recent update, Perry is ranked at #3 in the Jays system, behind only JoJo Parker (#27) and Arjun Nimmala (#46). Both Perry and Parker will be heading to Philadelphia this upcoming weekend to take part in the MLB Futures All-Star Game.
After missing all of last season due to injury, Perry has skyrocketed through the farm system. He appeared in five games for Single-A Dunedin, allowing just four earned runs and eight hits across 21 innings before earning a promotion to High-A Vancouver in early May. The right-hander would make seven starts for the Canadians, posting a 3.23 ERA through 30.2 innings with a 1.24 WHIP. Perry allowed just 11 earned runs, 27 hits, and 11 walks compared to 46 strikeouts, and held opponents to a .237/.310/.377 slash line and a .687 OPS.
His efforts in the Northwest League earned him a call-up to Double-A New Hampshire in late June, where he has made one start. Across three innings of work, Perry allowed just one hit and two walks while punching out seven Reading players.
So far this year, the New Mexico product has earned FSL Pitcher of the Week honours (April 19th), NWL Pitcher of the Week (May 24th) and of the Month (May) honours, and is now one of the top-ranked prospects in all of baseball, with fans getting a chance to see him on the diamond later this weekend against other top prospects.
