Duffy is in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career, and with a long track record of reliable outings, he could end up being on the radar of a number of teams, driving up the cost of acquisition. The Royals are in the basement of the AL Central and Duffy will be a free agent at season&#8217;s end, so it appears as though his 11-year run with the Royals will be over and he&#8217;ll be available to the highest bidder.

Still, Boston, Chicago and Milwaukee all feel like stronger bidders than The Blue Jays would be.
