Well, that escalated quickly. Following an abysmal 1-5 road trip, and now a loss at the hands at Big Sexy to open their homestand, playoffs are all but a distant dream. Hopefully, the Jays can start winning a few, to at least keep the games fun to watch. What better time for fun than players weekend, with “Estradabien” leading the way.
News and Scuttlebutt

Marco Estrada: 5.04 ERA, 145.2 IP, 9.2 H9, 1.4 HR9, 3.8 BB9, 9.1 SO9
Cubs
Buck and the #MNTwins are set for game 2 of #PlayersWeekend versus the Blue Jays. atmlb.com/2gdJ5eY
Ummm… Who?
Dillon Gee: 2.84 ERA, 31.2 IP, 8.5 H9, 1.4 HR9, 2.3 BB9, 7.4 SO9
Dillon Gee has put up excellent numbers in only 31.2 innings this year. The thing is though, Dillon Gee isn’t really that good. There’s bound to be some regression at some point, and his 4.63 xFIP points that way as well. Here’s hoping it’s against The Bringer of Rain and his crew.
