It’s been an ugly year in the AL East for the Toronto Blue Jays.
While they’ve fared… well… against the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays going 3-4 against both clubs, that hasn’t been the case against the Baltimore Orioles.
After a four-game set earlier this week, the Jays have now called to 2-8 against the O’s, while they sit 0-7 against the Red Sox. Brutal. The Jays have gone 15-10 since their last meeting on July 2nd, and have played some solid ball over that time.
Tonight, it will be Alek Manoah on the mound opposite James Paxton as Davis Schneider makes his MLB debut batting seventh in the order.
