To make matters worse after a five-run inning by the Red Sox, Josh Donaldson has exited the game with an apparent injury.

Donaldson went from first to third on a Justin Smoak double and was clearly labouring around the bases. He pulled into third base and was pulled for a pinch runner and exited the game. We don&#8217;t yet know what the injury is or how severe it is.

So it turns out that Donaldson has left the game with left calf tightness. Remember it was a calf injury that Donaldson was dealing with back in spring training prior to the 2017 season. He was rushed back, wasn&#8217;t at 100 per cent, and then missed a good chunk of time during the regular season. Let&#8217;s hope that this isn&#8217;t another serious issue.
