The Blue Jays just completed a sweep of the Washington Nationals last weekend. Want some more good news? Some of our Large Adult Son pitchers are killing it around the farm.

Toronto’s first-round pick from the 2016 draft is enjoying a breakout season after much of his 2017 campaign was derailed by injuries. Zeuch started in Single-A Dunedin, posted a 3.72 ERA in six starts, got promoted to Double-A New Hampshire, and has been even better since. Zeuch has made eight starts for the Fisher Cats and he owns a 2.81 ERA. His most recent start was probably the best of his professional career as he allowed just two hits over eight innings. His 4.7 strikeouts per nine leaves a lot to be desired, but Zeuch is more of a pitch-to-contact arm.

After a really, really bad start to his Triple-A career (allowing eight runs in two-and-a-third innings), Sean Reid-Foley has been excellent with the Buffalo Bisons. In his last two outings, Reid-Foley has combined to throw 14 1/3 innings while scattering just two earned runs on seven hits and two walks. In 24 2/3 innings at Triple-A, Reid-Foley has struck out 29 batters while walking just seven.

Another pitcher worth keeping an eye on is Angel Perdomo. He’s in his second go-around at Single-A Dunedin, but the righty was named to the Florida State League All-Star game. He has 3.20 ERA in 45 innings (nine starts) with 50 strikeouts and 15 walks.

I feel like I have to mention this because I said he was a bat without much power last time I did a run through the farm system. Ryan “Moneyball” Noda now has seven homers in his last 10 games. He now owns a .902 OPS through 58 games with Low-A Lansing this season.
