See the 387? See that green dumpster ~50 ft behind the fence. Vlad, Jr. just hit a ball well over that. Video to come #BlueJays

We can not get enough of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Whether you’re a fan of prospects, Hall of Fame pedigree, or you have an eternal hope for the future, you’ll eat up every single thing this kid does.
Vlad Jr. is having himself quite the week, holding a mini home run derby in minor league camp and lighting up Twitter in the process. And boy, these look like BOMBS.
The first one is a video we were waiting for just because of the tweets that preceded it. On Sunday, people at a minor league game between the Blue Jays and Yankees mentioned something about Vlad Jr. hitting a monster home run. I mean, how does this not excite you?
You can’t really see where it landed, but holy shit, does that swing ever look nice.
Vlad Guerrero, Jr hits a monster 450ft + bomb in AA game today. 70 grade power💣🚀🔥💯 @VladGuerrero27 @vladdyjr @BlueJays (sorry for the shaky camera)
The next one one we’ll look at is off of Nate Pearson, who’s a really promising prospect in his own right. Dude touches triple digits with ease and Vlad did this to him:

Then this one, my favourite one, is from yesterday. Just watch how the ball explodes off the bat. It reminds me of 2012-2016 Edwin Encarnacion.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. DID IT AGAIN!! He hit another massive, absolute no doubt home run during a minor league spring training game today! Don't believe me though, watch Vlad Guerrero Jr. destroy another home run! #BlueJays #MLBProspectPortal YouTube - youtube.com/watch?v=d-bSkA…
You can pretty much hear somebody in the back almost drop an “oh shit!”
If you can’t tell where it landed, but here’s the link to it on YouTube. Turn it up to 1080p HD, look on the right side of the screen, and watch it LAND ON THE ROOF 18 seconds in. How far did that fly to left center field? 410-420 feet?
That’s grown man power from a kid that celebrated his 19th birthday six days ago.
I fear that we put a lot of pressure and expectations on him, but man, the Vlad Jr show is so much fun to watch. Here’s to a season full of shaky phone videos!
