Blue Jays have informed Nate Pearson he's going to Arizona Fall League. He recently returned to pitching after missing nearly the entire season with a fractured right forearm. Plan is for Pearson to continue building up in Florida instructional league until AFL begins.
Nate Pearson will play in the Arizona Fall League

Is this the best group of prospects the Blue Jays have ever sent to the Arizona Fall League? They already had Vlad, Bo, and Biggio headlining a group of six heading to Arizona to play for the *checks notes* Surprise Saguaros and today it was announced that Nate Pearson will also join them.
Pearson missed virtually all of the 2018 season after taking a line drive off of his arm. He pitched just one-and-two-thirds innings for Dunedin this season but made a pseudo return with the Lansing Lugnuts played their annual Crosstown Showdown game with the Michigan State Spartans. Pearson struck out four guys over two scoreless frames.

Obviously it sucks that Pearson had his 2018 derailed given that he was a breakout candidate for the farm system, but he’ll get some much-needed reps in against some good prospects in Arizona. Watching Pearson, Bo, Vlad, and Biggio? Hell yes. Sign me up. Keep the Large Adult Son content flowing through the winter.
