The Vancouver Canadians can’t be stopped.
This is the June 10 – June 12 edition of the Minor League Report, where we look at how the last three days have gone for each of the Toronto Blue Jays’ affiliates. We’ll look at the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats, High-A Vancouver Canadians, Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays, FCL Jays, and their two DSL teams in this article. If you missed Tuesday’s Minor League Report, you can read it here.
Let’s dig in!

Bisons drop two of three

The Buffalo Bisons started their week with a 4-3 loss, courtesy of a late Columbus Clippers RBI single in the top of the ninth. Riley Tirotta and Will Robertson finished with their only extra-base hits. CJ Van Eyk had a strong game, going six innings with two earned runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.
Wednesday’s game saw the Bisons return to the win column, defeating the Clippers 5-2. The only extra-base hit came off the bat of Yohendrick Pinango, who hit his first triple in Triple-A. Rainer Nunez had a three-hit game, as did Michael Stefanic. Lazaro Estrada had a solid outing, giving up two earned runs in five and two-thirds innings pitched, along with six strikeouts.
Thursday saw the Bisons fall 7-1. Stefanic hit two doubles, and Joey Loperfido hit his 12th double of the season. Adam Kloffenstein had an okay outing, giving up three earned runs in five innings of work. Nick Sandlin gave up four earned runs in his third of an inning pitched.

Eddinson Paulino hit his eighth double of the season and had a three-hit game, as did Peyton Williams. Charles McAdoo hit the other double. Wednesday was another victory for the Fisher Cats, picking up a 5-4 win. Paulino hit his fifth home run of the season, while Jace Bohrofen hit three doubles in the game. Ryan McCarty also hit his fourth double of the season. Juaron Watts-Brown made the start in this game, pitching five innings with three earned runs allowed.
Unfortunately, the Fisher Cats couldn’t continue their winning ways on Thursday, falling 9-7. Paulino hit another home run, and Devonte Brown hit his second home run of the season. Bohrofen also hit a double. Trey Yesavage made his first Double-A start, going four innings with four walks and four strikeouts, three of those walks coming in the first inning.
