Good lord, this fucking kid. With the game tied 0-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning and a scoreless tie on the horizon, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. stepped up to the plate with with nobody on and two outs. And then what happened?
Perfection, that’s what.
What a fucking way to finish off the spring for the Blue Jays. Vlady was the focus of Toronto’s two-game annual pre-season series in Montreal and the son of the Expos legend didn’t disappoint. Wearing his dad’s No. 27, he sent the fans in Montreal home happy.
There’s nothing from tonight’s game to even talk about beyond that perfect moment. Baseball is so goddamn good sometimes.
