Seems like the natives are growing restless, eh?
Angels 5, Blue Jays 4: Shohei Oh(nooooo)tani

May 24, 2018, 00:19 EDT
After snapping a 4 game losing streak against the Angels in the series opener on Tuesday, the Jays went back to their late-May antics tonight, dropping this one late in the game.
Things worth mentioning…
- Aaron Sanchez left the game with a 3-0 lead, and it was the bullpen who lost the game tonight. Tyler Clippard blew the team’s second save in the ninth inning this year, giving up hits to Shohei Ohtani and Andrelton Simmons.
- Devon Travis hit his first home run since returning to the lineup in the third inning, and Yangervis Solarte followed with his own in the fourth. That would really be it for the Jays offence all night, with all 3 runs coming from both Travis and Solarte on their respective homers.
- What might have been the highlight of the night was the outfield sign that literally epitomizes the thoughts of Jays fans after a painful couple of weeks:
Fingers crossed, people.
