Game 1 World Series hero Addison Barger slept on Davis Schneider's pull-out couch last night. You can't make this stuff up.

It’s staggering to fathom this, but the Toronto Blue Jays have 81 home games this season, with 74 of them featuring a giveaway, theme day or promotion. If you buy a Blue Jays regular-season ticket this year, chances are something’s going on at Rogers Centre.
The Blue Jays pulled out all the stops for their 50th anniversary season, sparing no expense when it came to their promotions and events schedule. The consensus among fans is that the team nailed it in terms of giveaways fans are already buzzing about, and opening day is still seven weeks away.
Folks would love to attend every single home game, but most have to pick and choose which games they’re going to circle on their calendar. If you’re going to plan your summer around a few giveaway days, these are the ones that will probably be the most wanted items from the promotional schedule.
6. Jose Bautista & Edwin Encarnacion City Connect Bobblehead

BlueJays.com
Every team has to cater to its bobblehead sicko demographic with at least a few collectibles every year, and this year is no different for the Blue Jays. There are five regular bobblehead days on the schedule, and one speciality bobblehead day planned for 2026.
Arguably the best of them all is the Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion City Connect bobblehead on May 22. Frankly, I’m surprised the team never gave out a dual Joey Bats/Edwin bobblehead with their iconic flexing pose before. This one puts the Blue Jays sluggers in the new City Connect uniforms.
5. Addison Barger Couch T-Shirt

BlueJays.com
If you really stop to think about the absurdity of it, it doesn’t seem real that the Blue Jays are doing an Addison Barger Couch T-Shirt giveaway, but it’s true. On April 11, the first 15,000 fans through the gates will take home a t-shirt commemorating Barger’s stint as a couch surfer in Davis Schneider’s hotel room during the 2025 World Series.
It’s unclear what exactly the design will be, but this is one of the most obscure and random giveaways from the Blue Jays I’ve seen in recent memory. But kudos to the marketing team for leaning into this moment that caught social media on fire last fall.

4. Carlos Delgado Short-Sleeved Windbreaker

BlueJays.com
It’s a sign of an often overlooked period of Blue Jays baseball over their 50-season history, but it’s good to see the Carlos Delgado-led era of the team is getting some love from the organization.
You don’t see many windbreakers out in the wild these days, but this one will be handed out on September 25: the 23rd anniversary of Delgado’s iconic 4 home run game. (Hat tip to @BarronWasteland for picking up on that one.)
3. Andres Gimenez Replica Soccer Jersey

BlueJays.com
Even if you’re not a footie fanatic, everyone can appreciate the beauty of this Andres Gimenez soccer jersey. This might be one of the cleanest, sharpest-looking pieces of paraphernalia the Blue Jays have ever released, and that includes their own baseball jerseys.
To include the Blue Jays logo in a crest was a stroke of genius, and utilizing the blue colours of the Blue Jays logo and Toronto is another ode to the city. According to Our Esquina, Gimenez was an avid soccer player as a child growing up in Venezuela, and he uses soccer skills to improve his footwork as an infielder.
Group stages of the 2026 World Cup kick off on June 10, and this giveaway coincides with first-round play on June 11. Toronto will be in full-on football mode, and don’t be surprised if you see some of these Gimenez jerseys in the stands at Toronto Stadium (AKA BMO Field) on June 12 during the first Group B game of the World Cup.
2. Retro Domer Hat

BlueJays.com
For geezers like me who remember the short-lived mascot of SkyDome from the late 1980s and 1990s, there’s a special place in my heart for Domer. This Retro Domer Hat — given away on June 24 — is only the second official piece of Domer merchandise given away at a Blue Jays game.
The first was a Domer stuffed animal that was handed out during the official unveiling of SkyDome back on June 3, 1989. There is a display of the Domer mascot inside the Heinz Club 328 at Rogers Centre, but this cap will be a neat keepsake of the time when the Blue Jays not only had BJ Birdy as a mascot, but Domer as well.
1. Roy Halladay Replica Retro Jersey

BlueJays.com
This giveaway is geared towards fans who reflect fondly on the post-1992-1993 World Series era of Blue Jays baseball, but the lines outside Rogers Centre for the Roy Halladay replica jersey giveaway game on June 8 could be gargantuan.
The late 90s/early 2000s home Blue Jays uniforms are scarce on the open market, let alone the away grey jerseys, let alone one featuring a franchise icon like Halladay.
I think enough time has passed where the separate colour-sleeved uniforms (and even the Angry Bird jersey, which is being given away on May 8) are in vogue with fans once again.
