Jay Harry is starting to become a legitimate prospect in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, and one they may end up calling up in the next two seasons.
The utility player was promoted after a great start in Double-A. On Thursday, Harry hit his third home run since joining the Bisons, going 1-3 on top of a three-walk game.
Since joining the Bisons, Harry is slashing .355/.420/.689 with three home runs and six doubles in 50 plate appearances, good for a 185 wRC+. When including his Double-A stats, Harry is slashing .332/.368/.603 with 11 home runs in 229 plate appearances, good for a 150 wRC+.
Acquired from the Minnesota Twins in the Trevor Richards trade before the 2024 trade deadline, Harry struggled to end the 2024 season, and didn’t have a great 2025. Seemingly, he’s figured it out, as his 11 home runs are tied for fourth in the organization, while his 150 wRC+ ranks second, only behind Sean Keys.

Other notes…

The Bisons ended up winning that game 15-1. Harry hit one of the three home runs they had, as Keys hit his 21st home run of the season and Charles McAdoo hit his ninth. Willie MacIver, Je’Von Ward, Jonatan Clase, and Yohendrick PiƱango all hit doubles as well.
Starting the game for the Bisons was Chad Dallas, who struck out three over four and one-third scoreless innings. Brendon Little picked up the win, and Pat Gallagher struck out four over two scoreless innings.
In Double-A, Gage Stanifer fired six one-run innings, striking out nine and walking just one batter. He picked up his third win of the season, as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Somerset Patriots by a score of 2-1.
Following Stanifer was Mason Olson, who struck out four in one and the-thirds innings pitched. Javen Coleman picked up the save, striking out two of the four batters he faced. Jackson Hornung’s ninth double of the season drove in both runs, while Victor Arias hit his second triple at the level.
The High-A Vancouver Canadians also won, defeating the Hillsboro Hops 7-2 after seven innings. There were no home runs hit, but Manuel Beltre, Alex Stone, Maddox Latta, and Alexis Hernandez all hit a double.Ā
All four ā€œAā€ teams won, as the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays doubled up the Tampa Tarpons, winning 12-6. It was a great game for Dariel Ramon, who went 4-5 with a walk, two RBIs, and two doubles. Aldo Gaxiola and Brock Tibbitts also hit a double, and Giaconino Lasaracina went 3-5 with three singles.
Also in Florida, the Florida Complex League Blue Jays defeated the FCL Tigers 2-0. Pascual Archila hit his eight double of the season, and Andres Arias had a two-hit game.Ā
Miguel Pantoja started the game, throwing one and two-thirds scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Victor Espiritu struck out three in two and two-thirds innings in relief, and Ramon Suarez struck out two and one-third innings.
The Dominican Summer League Blue Jays Red defeated the DSL Tigers 1 by a score of 11-3. Ayberson Ortega was the standout performer, hitting his fourth double of the season in a four-hit game. Luis Nunez and Gabriel Porras each hit a double as well.
There was only one Blue Jays affiliate that lost on Thursday, the DSL Blue Jays Blue, who fell 5-3 to the DSL Rangers Blue. Juan Caricote hit his second home run of the season, and Fabian Gonzalez hit two doubles. Eiker Lothar and Sebastian Casanova each hit a double as well.
