Trey Yesavage has gone under the knife, putting the remainder of his 2026 season in jeopardy.
The 23-year-old rookie underwent surgery to repair the meniscus injury in his left knee this week, as Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider revealed on Tuesday. The club plans to re-evaluate his status over the next few weeks.
For now, they aren’t considering this season-ending surgery and remain hopeful that Yesavage can pitch again before September concludes.
