Re-clipped Mollarus' draft announcement because the audio on the other one wasn't great.

The final pick of the day is in.
The Blue Jays selected Josh Mollerus with the 304th pick. Like the last two picks, he doesn’t rank on MLB Pipeline, Baseball America, or Prospects Live’s top draft prospect list.
He was a fifth-year senior who transferred the University of Oregon after spending four seasons at the University of San Francisco. This year, he had a 3.44 ERA in 36.2 innings pitched, along with a 31.9 K% and an 11.5 BB%. It’s also worth noting that Mollerus was tied for the most saves in the Pac-12 conference with 11.
For his entire collegiate career, he had a 5.14 ERA in 171.2 innings pitched, along with a 23.6 K% and an 8.6 BB%. His summer ball numbers are better, as he had a 2.38 ERA in 41.2 innings pitched. Mollerus also had a 38 K% and an 11.2 BB% with the Portland Pickles and State College Spikes in 2021 and 2022.
DONS WIN! 😤 Josh Mollerus shuts the door with a backwards K to pick up his third save of the season! Rubber match is tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. #USFDons | #WCCSports
He has a fastball, changeup, slider mix, with the fastball sitting around 91-95 mph. The slider plays well off the fastball when he locates, but he’ll need to improve his command and control as he turns professional.
To me, this is a pretty clear under-slot. Mollerus is a fifth-year senior with some upside. He’ll need to get the command and control under control, but he could find himself in the upper minors sooner rather than later.
