<h2>Getting to know Ryan Jennings…</h2>

Born: June 23, 1999
Acquired: 4th-round, 2022 draft
Previous ranking: Not ranked
The Blue Jays selected Jennings out of Louisiana Tech in the fourth round of the 2022 draft. He pitched in 8.1 innings with the Single-A team in the following months, posting a 2.16 ERA and a 6.04 FIP. Jennings repeated the Single-A level in 2023, posting a 4.36 ERA and a 3.47 FIP in 33 innings pitched, earning a promotion to High-A where he had a 2.70 ERA and a 3.70 FIP in 10 innings pitched. Overall, he finished the 2023 season with a 30.9 K%.
Jennings started the 2024 season with the High-A Vancouver Canadians. Starting in all 11 games he appeared in, he finished with a 2.13 ERA and a 3.39 FIP in 50.2 innings pitched, with a 26.5 K% and a 9 BB%. Upon being promoted to Double-A New Hampshire, Jennings had a 0.90 ERA and a 3.08 FIP in 10 innings pitched with a 27.3 K% and a 9.1 BB%.
Interestingly, Jennings only made one start in his 10 appearances in the upper minors. Even then, it was only an inning of work before being pulled. He had the same type of usage in the Arizona Fall League, pitching 10 innings in nine appearances (all in relief) where he didn’t allow an earned run and had a 36.8 K% and a 10.5 BB%.
Jennings sits in the mid-90s with his fastball with a changeup, slider, and curveball in his arsenal. He has average command.
